Jordan McRae
Jordan McRae (he/him) serves as the Director of Client Services of Bountiful, where he oversees a small team of development professionals and stewards relationships with community partners.
About Jordan
Jordan has been a grants and fundraising professional for more than six years and has helped raise millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations in the greater Washington region, and nationally throughout the United States. Jordan has worked with nonprofit organizations spanning several sectors including community and public health, maternal and child health, psychology and psychiatry, education, arts, and social and human services.
Jordan envisions a world where nonprofits and funders develop and cultivate bidirectional partnerships to address challenges in their communities and throughout the world. Jordan is an advocate for justice-centered philanthropy––relinquishing power dynamics and transactional relationships to foster partnerships based on compassion, community, and trust.
Besides his work at Bountiful, Jordan is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for music, visual arts, literature, and creative writing. Jordan earned a BA in Music and English from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Jordan also earned an MA in Arts Management from George Mason University, where he also serves as an organizing member of the Kritikos Anti-Racist Reading Group.
Jordan is a lifelong resident of the DMV area with loved ones residing in Prince George’s County, Maryland and Washington, DC. Jordan currently lives in Greenbelt, Maryland with his partner, Mara. In his free time, Jordan enjoys cooking, reading poetry, going for hikes, and spending as much time in nature as possible.
